Takaful IKHLAS Donates Dialysis Machine To Mersing Hospital



PETALING JAYA, July 14 (Bernama) -- Provider of financial protection guided by Islamic principles and values Takaful Ikhlas Sdn Bhd (Takaful IKHLAS) has donated a dialysis machine worth RM40,000 to the Mersing District Hospital in Johor.

The machine was presented to the hospital in conjunction with the Program Kembara Mahkota Johor Jelajah Pedalaman 2009 (annual statewide motorcycle tour program held by the Crown Prince of Johor, Tunku Ibrahim Ismail), which was participated by Takaful IKHLAS, the company said in a statement Tuesday.

Takaful IKHLAS vice-president of agency sales Wan Rosli Shaharuddin said in the statement, the contribution is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility.

Takaful IKHLAS, which began operations in July 2003, is a subsidiary of MNRB Holdings Berhad, an investment holdings company listed on the main board of Bursa Malaysia, with its main shareholder being PNB Berhad through Skim Amanah Saham Bumiputera.

Takaful IKHLAS has two customer services centres in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor as well regional offices in Kuala Lumpur, Kota Baharu, Johor Baharu, Sungai Petani, Kuching, Melaka, Kota Kinabalu, Kuantan, Ipoh and Putrajaya.
